Advisory Has Vacancies and Needs Members

Vacancies can cause boards like the Advisory Committee to have difficulty in reaching a quorum, effecting their ability to conduct the business of the town and its residents like you. While volunteering can be a big committment it is a vital role, and volunteering in your community by participating in Local Government is the only way to ensure that all residents are represented.

For more information on volunteering on a town board and to see the Handbook for Appointed Officials, please click this link to be directed to more detail.

If you feel ready for a new and exciting challenge and want to volunteer your time, please complete this Vacancy Application and return it to the Selectmen's Office at 100 Center Street in person, by mail, by email or by fax (781-293-4650). You will be notified of the date of the next Advisory Committee meeting so that they can meet you and form a recommendation to the Board of Selectmen. This role is appointed jointly by the Advisory Committee and the Board of Selectmen.
