Proposed Substation Fire Station - School St

The Town of Pembroke's Public Safety Building Committee issued an RFP soliciting proposals from qualified firms for design services and site evaluation for the construction of a new Pembroke Police and Fire Station, a Public Safety Building with shared services, to accommodate twenty-nine full-time police officers, twenty-seven part-time police officers, and two administrative assistants, twenty-six full time firefighters, twenty-four on-call firefighters and one administrative assistant.

Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc. (KBA) entered into a contract with the Town on a scope of services involving the preparation of space planning, schematic design, site planning and construction cost estimates with the goal of improving and enhancing the Police and Fire Department's ability to deliver services to the residents of the Town of Pembroke.

The Public Safety Building Committee is preparing to bring the proposed Public Safety Building Complex on Washington Street and Fire Substation on School Street to the May 9, 2023 annual town meeting for a vote of Pembroke residents to support the construction of these long awaited and highly necessary facilities for both departments.
