Town of Pembroke Department Of Public Works. Full Time Skilled Laborer/Driver. Experienced individuals with a valid Class B- CDL license with air brakes endorsement. Hoisting Licenses are a plus are invited to apply at the DPW office, 100 Center Street, Pembroke, Ma. Monday thru Friday, 8:30Am to 4:30 PM. We are looking for enthusiastic and team oriented counselors; must be 16 years old or older; with shifts one-five days per week from 2:30/2:45- 5:00/5:30 PM. Experience preferred. Under the general supervision of the Town Clerk, the position shall perform a variety of supervisory, administrative, clerical and public assistance duties to provide support in the operations, procedures and activities of the Town Clerk's Office. Responsibilities include providing general information to the public, issuing licenses, permits and certificates, maintaining legal records, vital records, data entry and participation in all phases of elections, including voter registration, census data entry and certifications of various nomination papers and petitions.  Assist in the Administration of the Town Meetings. Qualified applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, have excellent organizational  skills and the ability to work independently. Applicant must have three to five years of general office experience, including extensive public contact and customer service skills.  It is preferred the applicant have a minimum oftwo years specific experience in a Town Clerk's  Office. Duties: This position oversees and administers the transportation program for the Council on Aging.  Work includes receiving and processing transportation requests, for both GATRA Dial-A-Ride and volunteer medical rides. Coordination and scheduling of both van drivers and volunteers; coordinates and schedules maintenance of vehicles.
