Pembroke Recreation Department is seeking summer camp counselors. As a camp counselor, applicants would be responsible for overseeing a group of campers, planning and leading activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing guidance and support. Counselors should have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills as well as experience working with children. CPR and First Aid Certification will be required. This librarian instructs and assists patrons in the use of technology and library resources and plans and implements adult programs and classes. Other responsibilities include coordinating exhibits and displays for the library’s public display spaces and performing outreach for library initiatives. The Generalist supervises adult and teen volunteers and participates in collection development and maintenance duties as well as assists at public service desks. CLOSED The Pembroke Fire Department is seeking qualified individuals for the purpose of hiring entry level full-time firefighter/paramedics. The minimum requirements are as follows: High school diploma or equivalent, valid Massachusetts driver’s license, Massachusetts paramedic certification and a Massachusetts Firefighter level II certification. Previous structural firefighting and progressive 911 paramedicine experience preferred. Consideration will be given to qualified Pembroke residents. Duties: This position oversees and administers the transportation program for the Council on Aging.  Work includes receiving and processing transportation requests, for both GATRA Dial-A-Ride and volunteer medical rides.
