"The Importance of proper Foot Care & Footwear for People with Diabetes"

     Diabetic Shoe Solutions is an experienced provider of diabetic shoes and inserts.  Your instructor, Pamela Hoaglund, TSOF, has fitted 1000's of diabetics with shoes over her 46 year career as the owner of Orthotic Solutions.  She now works under Quantum Medical Supply, who obtains all necessary paperwork and bills your insurance. 

     Diabetics are prone to foot issues such as neuropathy, calluses, bunions, swelling and hammertoes, just to name a few.  It is often difficult to find proper fitting shoes from a store.  This workshop will cover how to properly take care of your feet and the few simple steps to getting perfectly fitted footwear, most often covered by your insurance-every year! 

     You will be able to see and feel many samples of stylish and comfortable diabetic shoes, sneakers and boots.  You will learn what makes a shoe "diabetic" and understand why Medicare and other insurances have covered them since 1998.
