VISIT TO THE STATE HOUSE

Did you know that the State House was completed in 1798 and at a
cost of $133,333 which was FIVE times the original budget! It was
designed by architect Charles Bullfinch who was the designer of the
Boston Common, the enlargement of Faneuil Hall buildings at
Harvard University and more.
It is one of the oldest Capitols in use and is considered a
masterpiece of Federal architecture, it is a designated National
Historic Landmark.
Join us as we take a trip to see for ourselves on April 25th. We will
have a tour, a visit with one of our State Representatives Kathleen
LaNatra, our Senator Susan Moran and also have some pizza!
