War on Terror Memorial

The War on Terror Memorial is 73 inches tall, 101 inches in length and 24.5 inches in width. The total cost of the memorial was $14,500.00 and was voted at the 2016 Town Meeting for purchase. The memorial is dedicated to all of the men and women from the bay state who answered freedom's call after the attacks of September 11, 2001 and to the family and friends who supported them in their mission to preserve our freedom. We are in eternal debt your sacrifice will always be remembered.

The Memorial currently contains two names

Matthew Bean: Died in 2007 of injuries sustained in Iraq when he was struck by enemy fire. 

Brian McPhillips: Died in 2003 during a firefight in Iraq.
