UPDATE: Curbside Recycling Audit Week of April 8 - April 19

The Town of Pembroke will undergo a mandatory, annual audit of the contents of all loads of curbside recycling picked up the week of Monday, April 8* through Friday, April 19*.

It is not optional, and the Town does not decide when Waste Management conducts these audits. We need to do our absolute best with the materials we place into our 64 gallon, single stream, recycling Toters that week, and every week going forward.

Should the results of these audits reveal an increase in our level of contamination, we will see an increase in our contamination fees for this upcoming fiscal year. This will result in higher Municipal Users Fees for all residents, and we have this opportunity to act to reduce the costs we experience for solid waste and recycling disposal.
