Sale of Property - 660 Washington Street

The Town of Pembroke is seeking proposals for the sale of one (1) Town owned parcel of land located at 660 Washington Street, Pembroke, identified on Assessor’s Map F9 as Parcel 1 containing 17.89 acres.

Hardcopies of the full Request for Proposals may be obtained from Town Manager Edwin Thorne’s office, and questiosn can be directed by email at [email protected]. Proposers are advised that the Town has established a minimum purchase price of $2.59 million for the property.

Proposals must be received by the Town Manager’s office, 100 Center Street, Pembroke, MA 02359 on or before 11:00 am on February 24, 2020 at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened.




CLOSED Bids and Contract Invitations

Five firms submitted responses to this RFP solicitation. Technical proposals were opened September 12, 2019 at 6:44 pm. The five firms that submitted responses were:

  2. Community Paradigm Associates, LLC
  3. Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management
  4. The Executive Suite
  5. Municipal Resources, Inc.

Price Proposals will not be opened until the conclusion of the evaluation and interview process in accordance with the RFP issed, details from original posting below.


The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available in the Pembroke Selectmen’s Office, Pembroke Town Hall, 100 Center Street, Pembroke MA 02359, after 9:00 AM on July 1, 2019.  The RFP is available via email by contacting Sabrina Chilcott in the Board of Selectmen’s office: [email protected].

Inquiries involving procedural or technical matters related to the Request for Proposals shall be submitted in writing and received no later than three (3) business days prior to the time the proposals are due as stated in the advertisement, and must be directed via US Mail, fax or email to: Sabrina Chilcott, Assistant to the Town Manager, Board of Selectmen’s Office, 100 Center Street, Pembroke, MA 02359; fax: 781-293-4650, email: [email protected].  

Proposals will be received until 10:00 am (EST) on Monday, August 26, 2019. E-MAILED AND FAXED PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  It is the proposer’s sole responsibility to submit the proposal before the deadline, and the Town is not responsible for delays in deliveries, deliveries attempted when Town offices are closed, mistakes in deliveries, or any other reason for a proposal that is not submitted prior to the deadline.

Interviews of qualified proposers will be held during the month of September. The award of this contract, if any, will be no later than sixty (60) days after the deadline for the submission of proposals.
