At their meeting of Tuesday, January 8, 2019, the Pembroke Board of Selectmen voted to create a Town Manager Search Committee. The Board of Selectmen voted to appoint as their representatives Selectman Bill Boulter and Selectman Dan Trabucco, and the Advisory Committee appointed Stephen Curley through his term with Stephen Walsh post June 30, 2018. Several members of the public submitted applications and two individuals were appointed by the Board of Selectmen on February 26, 2019, Tim Brennan and Dan Pelletier.
The composition of this committee is defined in An Act Establishing a Town Manager Form of Government in the Town of Pembroke. The committee shall include 2 members of the Board of Selectmen, 1 Advisory Committee member and 2 members of the general public.
This committee shall be responsible for soliciting and reviewing all applications received by the Town for the Town Manager position, conducting initial screening of applicants, and recommending to the Board of Selectmen finalist candidates for the Selectmen's further consideration.
To that end, the Committee has prepared and published a Request for Proposals for Town Manager Search Firm Services with a deadline of August 26, 2019 for submission. Interviews with the respondents will take place during the month of September, 2019.
