Citizens Police Academy

The Pembroke Police Department is seeking residents* interested in attending an 8 week Citizens Police Academy. The Pembroke Police Citizens Police Academy will begin Wednesday April 25, 2018 with one three hour class scheduled for each of the following 7 weeks. Residents will be introduced to Pembroke Police Officers who will explain and demonstrate the day to day duties and responsibilities of a Pembroke Police Patrol Officer and Detective. Since the majority of policing takes place outside of the police station selected residents must also be willing to participate in a patrol ride-along and visits to the Plymouth District Court, Plymouth House of Corrections and the Firing Range.

If you would like to become a part of the next Pembroke Police Citizens Police Academy please send an email to Lt Richard MacDonald at

*Interested residents must agree to a Criminal Offender Records Check (CORI) before being accepted and be 21 years of age.
