Pembroke is well known for the many ponds in town. There are also beautiful beaches at some of them.
There are four town beaches in Pembroke. They are on Little Sandy Bottom Pond, Stetson Pond, Oldham Pond (Town Landing) and Furnace Pond.
Swimming lessons are offered at Town Landing on Wampatuck Street and Little Sandy Beach on Woodbine Avenue during the summer. Call Town Landing Guardhouse 781-293-3082 for swimming lesson information.
Swimming lessons have ended for the season but the public may still enjoy Stetson, Little Sandy, Town Landing and Furnace Pond beaches at their own risk; Town Committee lifeguards will return to monitor the beaches on June 26, 2016.
Have a happy and safe winter and spring season, and thank you for sharing your summer with the Town Landing Committee and its staff.
