· 227 Birch Street--sieve analysis septic variance. The Board voted to approve the variance request.

· Canoe Club perc extension. The Board voted to approve the perc extension request.

· The secretary presented the Board with the idea of posting weekly “green” hints and tips on the Town’s website home page. Permission from the author / publisher of the reference book for green tips was granted to the secretary for such use.

· The principal clerk gave an update on the H1N1 flu clinic that would be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009.

· Cytrynowski suggested that trash collector DelPrete and Sons be notified in writing about the reduction of the amount of trash barrels per household that can be collected starting January 1, 2010. The reduction would be from 7 to 4 barrels of household trash per week. This reduction is to encourage recycling and reduce the weight of curbside trash pickup.

· Discussion about including a notice to residents about the rate increase and barrel reduction to be printed on the back side of the January 1, 2010 trash billing

· Pembroke resident, Vincent Flaherty, expressed concern about other towns’ residents dropping their trash with Pembroke town residents.

· The principal clerk requested to know the reasons why the Board transferred the billing and related duties to the secretary. MacInnes said the town accountant had that information. The conversation escalated to a loud volume with the principal clerk and MacInnes reiterating their past comments about the Town officials and the Board of Health. Cytrynowski tried to keep things under control until MacInnes moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m. Cytrynowski seconded and the meeting adjourned.
