BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

November 24, 2008

 

 

 

 

 

 

The meeting opened at 6:40 p.m. Lisa Cullity and Scott MacInnes were present. Board reviewed correspondence, approved minutes, signed payroll, accounts payable voucher and septic permits.

Discussion:

523 Washington Street septic plans—new repair technique.

Perc extension-Lots 8 and 9 Canoe Club Lane. MacInnes moved to approved. All in favor.

Agenda closing--notice to be posted on public bulletin board that the agenda for Board of Health meetings will close at 4:30 p.m. on the Thursday before the meeting. An agenda appointment is necessary to be heard by the Board. No action will be taken on any requests without an agenda appointment.

 

James Panarelli, 163 Washington Street – complained his next door neighbor, Scott Buitta, American Lawn Care, 167 Washington Street, is disposing fertilizer on his property, encroaching on his property via removing natural buffers Panarelli planted between the two lots and other offenses. The Health Agent was charged to visit 167 Washington Street to make a visual on the septic system and order a Title V to be conducted on same, check for any chemicals that may be stored on the property and witness of where the fertilizer was disposed on the 163 Washington Street property. George Verry, Alternate Building Inspector and Zoning Officer was also in attendance and will check into the other offenses pertaining to those departments.

MacInnes moved to adjourn at 8:05 p.m. All in favor.
