24 Ferndale Avenue – Josh Sampson and Kelly Strang, 17 Beechwood Avenue, and Donna and Brad Sampson, 15 Beechwood Avenue in attendance. John and Jennifer Davenport of Ferndale Avenue were notified by certified mail of tonight’s meeting, but neither responded nor appeared. Abutters complained that the Davenports have been pumping basement water onto the above two properties during high ground water seasons. The abutters expressed concern about the retaining walls protecting their septic systems being undermined by the excess water flow. Board advised residents that unless the water tested to be contaminated, they had no jurisdiction of the situation. The Board recommended residents bring this to the Zoning Board / Building Inspector’s attention citing State regulations: 780 CMR 5401.3 concerning drainage. The Health Agent was charged to follow up via checking for any unusual odors from the area.
30 Forest Street – variance. Board voted to approve minimum setback distances of SAS to bordering vegetative wetland (BVW) from 50 feet to 35 ˝ feet.
MacInnes moved to adjourn at 7:40 p.m., Cullity seconded. All in favor.
Respectfully submitted,
Scott MacInnes
Clerk
