BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
June 9, 2008
The meeting opened at 6:30 p.m. Lisa Cullity, Scott MacInnes and Wilson Whittaker were in attendance. Board reviewed correspondence, approved minutes, signed septic permits and signed vouchers.
Discussion:
Kopelman & Paige, P.C. re: Title 5 property transfer / relationship proof. Board voted to add amendment to existing Title 5 regulations that requires proof of relationship via birth certificate, marriage certificate and photo identification. This is to be effective immediately.
41 Stetson Avenue – Bernie Munro re: 2 properties are becoming 1 property. Variance requested: to place barrier around 2 walls of house within 20 feet of septic system. Whittaker moved to accept plans as submitted with variance; MacInnes seconded. All in favor.
Keith Deveau – 2 Columbia Road, new massage therapy business. Board required Deveau to call the health agent to inspect premises just before he is about to open and to submit required permit application and fee at that time. MacInnes moved to approve; Whittaker seconded. All in favor.
Deborah Nazzaro (care giver) – re: reinstatement of Bay State gas service to disabled resident. Board advised Nazzaro that they were limited as to what they could do because there is no legal requirement during the warm season to keep the heat to a minimum specific temperature. She was advised to provide the doctor’s letter and other information as per Bay State’s requirement. Also, the Board allowed an abatement of the trash bill.
Whittaker moved to adjourn at 7:55 p.m., MacInnes seconded. All in favor.
