Qualifications & Instructions
|Type of Exemption||Description|
|Senior Exemption - Clause 41C|
Reduces local property tax liability for seniors 65 years of age or older. This exemption has Income and Asset Requirements.
|Disabled Veterans Exemption - Clause 22|
Reduces local property tax liability for surviving spouse or a minor child. This Exemption has Asset and/or age Requirements.
|Blind - Clause 37A|
Reduces local property tax liability for a person who is legally blind. Person must be registered with the Massachusetts Commission.
|Senior - Clause 17D|
Reduces local property tax liability for seniors 70 years of age or older. This Exemption has Asset Requirements and is for ages 70 years and older.
|Community Preservation Act|
You may also qualify for the Community Preservation exemption.
