We had some discussion about Public Relations and how Kathleen will let the public know about events and meetings. Press/Radio/Cable etc.
Aviation Weekend Richard Farrara
No Report but R Farrara is working on event and has antique planes and people committed to August 18-19, 2012.
Police Tactical Unit Chris Wyman
No Report but is working on event with area Police Departments.
Colonial Encampment? Rick Janhola Oct 20-21,2012
We had a report from R Janhola about his group and what they are able to do. He will look into a location in Pembroke for the event and report back at the next meeting. He has a number of people interested in having the event and likes the idea about a battle between the Old Soldiers and the current US Soldiers.

Fireworks Bob Dorsey
B Dorsey received a copy of the General Laws and procedures that have to do with a fireworks display. He is working on meeting with the Fire Chief and other authorities in regards to a location and a time for the event. We may have the display during another event. More information to come at the next meeting.

No update as to new information. B Boulter working on same. Bill has contacted a sign company from Vermont that has done a number of signs in area.

No update to report at this time. Local residents that live on the river are willing to assist with pontoon boats. B Boulter will talk to local boat captains for assistance.

Logo? We received our first logo from Artist J Gallinger. Artist and committee member, Mary Ann Simmons is also working on a logo.
VII. New Business:
Carnival:
Bob Dorsey talked about two companies that would be good to put on a Carnival in Pembroke for a Fund Raiser. He will check on prices, location, and a number of other items and report back to the committee.Closing Event:
B Boulter talked about a closing event in December 2012. This could be used to thank people that assisted in the events, give out awards, gifts, and recognize people that did a good job in making the 300th a success.All the business was completed at 9:00PM. A motion was made and seconded to adjourn. All in favor. Tip left for the waitress.
