The 300th Walkway Committee invites you to show your town pride in 2012.

BECOME PART OF THE HISTORY OF PEMBROKE

On June 6 the Board of Selectmen approved a community-wide brick walk project designed to be a lasting commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of the Town of Pembroke.

Everyone who has called Pembroke home is invited to  “become  part of the history of Pembroke” by buying a brick for $40 and personalizing it by having it inscribed with 1,2 or 3 lines of up to 20 characters per line. Bricks are 4” by 8”. Engraving will be in all capital letters.

In addition to current residents, others who may be interested are

·   those who grew up in Pembroke and moved away,  but still consider Pembroke  their ‘home town’
·   the business community in Pembroke
·   employees of those businesses who work in  Pembroke

The bricks will be on sale from this summer until next summer with the walk being completed by the Fall of 2012.

Use the order form to purchase a 300th Anniversary brick.

The Brick Walk will be located next to the Harry Woods Bandstand on the Town Green. It will be lasting commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of the Town of Pembroke. Bricks will be sold through the summer of 2012.

The price per brick is only $40. And a memory is cast in stone almost forever.

Order you brick now. Revised 10/2/11
